The Woodbury Lions, the City of Woodbury, Woodbury Veterans Organizations, Woodbury businesses, and individual Woodbury citizens have come together to form the

Woodbury Lions Veterans Memorial Council to build the

Woodbury Veterans Memorial.

The Memorial is located just east of the Woodbury City Hall

Memorial Day Ceremony

11:00 a.m. at the Woodbury Lions Veterans Memorial

Hosted by Woodbury VFW Post 9024, Woodbury American Legion Post 501, & the Woodbury Lions Veterans Memorial Council


This year's Master-of Ceremony will be John Lally (former SGT, INF 101st Airborne) Vietnam and the keynote speaker will be LTC William B. Mozey Jr. ARMY (RET). Woodbury High AFJROTC will carry out the presentation of colors, the invocation will be from Pastor Steve Kramer, Shepard of the Valley Lutheran Church, and introductory remarks by Woodbury Mayor Giuliani Stephens. There will be the U.S. Flag folding ceremony with TAPS presented by the Minnesota Army National Guard Honor Guard and the Memorial Wreath placing ceremony by US Navy Recruiting Personnel (Woodbury). Members of the CIVIL AIR PATROL, USAF, St. Croix Composite Squadron will also be participating.
